Foodies and Disney World fans take note. According the the readers of Orlando Magazine, some of the best dining in the Orlando area is right on Disney property (or practically on property). This includes notable awards for Best Seafood for Paddlefish, Best Southern from Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, and T-Rex Cafe for best place to take the kids.
Here’s the full list of Disney World restaurants voted into the top three of each category:
- Best Seafood – Paddlefish at Disney Springs
- Best Chef’s Table 3rd – Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
- Best Outdoor Dining 3rd – PB&G at Four Seasons Resort Orlando Walt Disney World Resort
- Best Southern – Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ at Disney Springs
- Best Place to Take the Kids 1st – T-Rex Café at Disney Springs
- Best Chef’s Table 3rd – Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
- Best Restaurant 2nd – Bull & Bear at Waldorf Astoria Orlando
- Best for a business dinner – Bull & Bear at Waldorf Astoria Orlando
- Best Hotel Restaurant – Bull & Bear at Waldorf Astoria Orlando
- Best Service 2nd – Bull & Bear at Waldorf Astoria Orlando
- Most Romantic 3rd – Bull & Bear at Waldorf Astoria Orlando
- Best Italian Restaurant – La Luce – Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek
There are obviously some good Disney restaurants that are not on this list. Which makes me wonder if Disney has priced themselves out of the locals market. I’m sure they don’t mind since most locations are still difficult to get a reservation for. But a list like this without California Grill or Jiko on it would have been unthinkable a few years ago.
It also appears that Bull & Bear at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando in the Bonnet Creek area adjacent to Walt Disney World is really good. Might have to get over there some day soon.
Do you have a favorite Disney area restaurant that you think should be on this list?

These places all sound wonderful.
