Around the world, spring signals the arrival of cherry blossoms and Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs is importing a traditional Sakura festival. Sakura means Cherry Blossoms in Japanese and Morimoto Asia will fill its festival with a series of special ticketed events and menu specials dedicated to the cherry blossoms and all the sweet and delicate tastes they remind you of.
The festival will begin March 15 and run through April 15. Scheduled events include:
- Happy Hour with the brewmasters from Crooked Can Brewing Co.
- Late night whiskey pairing and bites with Suntory
- Seas of Japan 101
- Morimoto Asia’s Guest Chef Series with Chef Hitoshi Sugiura
- Ramen Seminar and Tasting
- Matsuri Festival
The Crooked Can Brewing Co happy hour will feature a Sakura Kolsch that you can only get at Morimoto Asia. It sounds incredible. It’s also the cheapest event on the schedule, but they all sound pretty good.
Morimoto Asia, including its street food window and late-night Forbidden Lounge menu continues to be our favorite place to grab a bite when we’re at Disney Springs.
Tickets are now on sale. For more information, menu details and to purchase tickets visit the Morimoto Asia website.
