This year’s addition of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts to the park’s festival line up was a big success. The second edition will return next year from Jan 12 – Feb 19 and will expand to seven days a week with Disney on Broadway performances scheduled each weekend (Fridays through Mondays). The festival features arts in three categories (performing, visual, and culinary) with an emphasis on participation from guests.
Like its big siblings, the Festival of the Arts features seminars and workshops from top Disney and renowned artists. Instead of food marketplaces, there ae food studios, each with its own artistic take on culinary delights, and other performing artists are sprinkled throughout the park.
My favorite part of the festival, however, was the Disney on Broadway concerts. They’ll be back and better than ever featuring some of the best of Disney Theatrical productions.
