I’m pretty well read when it comes to Disney but I just discovered a service that will make a one particular subset of fans very happy. If you love Disney music and want a source for all things collectible and limited edition, you need to know about the Disney Music Emporium (DME). It’s a ‘Field of Dreams” with a rich catalog of music and unique Disney Records related merchandise.
While they carry some Disney soundtrack, those you can get anywhere, they also stock vinyl discs (including great Picture Discs) for things like Star Wars, Marvel, and Disney classics. They even have cassette tapes for sale (haven’t seen those on shelves in ages).
Previously only available at Disneyland Resort and D23, The Haunted Mansion, It’s a Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean picture discs are now available at Disney Music Emporium. For the first time on vinyl, these picture discs feature the artwork from the original attraction poster.
This frightfully collectible picture disc vinyl features the Disneyland attraction poster art designed by Ken Chapman and Marc Davis in 1969. Grim, Grinning Ghosts come out to socialize and enjoy the music from the attraction including The “Haunted Mansion,” “Ghostly Music Box,” “The Graveyard Band” and more!
