It’s a big weekend at Disneyland, two of the park’s original attractions – the Disneyland Railroad and Rivers of America – returned to Disneyland after a long hiatus to help the park prepare for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. John Lasseter, who, among his many roles is principal creative advisor for Walt Disney Imagineering, was on hand to rededicate the railroad with a new to Disneyland engine and, for the first time, a left-hand turn.

Once the flora fills in a bit, I think the Rivers of America will once again feel like it’s old self again. There are certainly plenty of fun scenes to enjoy as your enjoy your lazy trip aboard the Mark Twain.
