Dapper Day at Walt Disney World starts today with fans dressing up in their retro-inspired or Disneybound fashion and convening on Disney Springs. On Saturday the fan-led event will be visiting Magic Kingdom and Sunday the destination is EPCOT.
While you’re in Disney Springs be sure to stop by Vivoli il Gelato. Identify yourself as participating in Dapper Day and you will receive 1 additional scoop with the purchase of any geleto. Posting on social is not required by encouraged using hashtag #VivoliSocialScoop and tagging @VivoliGelatoria. The promotion will be running Apil 28-30.
Today is also National Blueberry Pie Day and Vivoli il Gelato has a special “Blueberry Pie” sundae to celebrate.
Other Dapper Day activities at Disney Springs include a swing dance party from 7 to 11pm. Head to the Fountain Stage (near Once Upon a Toy and Earl of Sandwich) to dance the night away.
Dapper fans will be gathering at The Boathouse for cocktails and conversation starting at 8pm – Midnight on the boat dock by the lineup of historic water craft.
Other stores with specials include, Chapel Hats (photo-op and retro-candy), Erin McKenna’s Bakery (has free mini cupcakes while supplies last), Mac Cosmetics and Sephora are offering free mini-makeovers, and Starbucks at the Marketplace will over 10% off food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Finally, be sure to stop by the new Cherry Tree Lane dress shoppe for some vintage-inspired Disney themed dresses and accessories.

Hello – FYI all of Disney’s “The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane” dresses are no longer at the Co-Op and are being moved to the Emporium at the Magic Kingdom where DAPPER DAY creator Justin J. will be appearing Saturday April 29, 10-11am, courtesy of Disney, as part of the Spring DAPPER DAY Outing to that park.
Have the dresses at The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane been restocked? Reports are saying that nearly everything XS, S, and M are gone, and the Tiki Room and Orange Bird dresses are completely sold out.
