“How Far I’ll Go” was just nominated for an Academy Award for best song at the 2017 Oscars. That’s a feather in the cap for Lin-Manuel Miranda, vocalist Auli’i Cravalho and everyone at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Disney is hoping its Oscar Nods will help build momentum for “Moana” at the theaters, where it’s rolling out a sing-along version.
Disney just released the sing-along version of “How Far I’ll Go” for you to start practicing at home with the family:
Disney has a big success releasing a sing-along version of its mega-hit “Frozen.” I think they’d be happy if “Moana” gets a box office bump of its own.
The special sing-along engagement of Disney’s Moana, begins in select theatres nationwide January 27th
