In Cars 3, Lightning McQueen is forced to come back from a serious injury in order to race again. But it’s not just physical limitations he has to battle, in Cars 3 McQueen finds a new mentor to help him overcome some mental blocks as well. Will McQueen be able to return to racing form and defeat his new rival Jackson Storm?
A new extended teaser trailer for the Cars sequel from Pixar just dropped during the College Football National Championship on ESPN.
Looks promising. I know a lot of people are questioning the need for another Cars film, but I trust Pixar to put out a product that reflects their real abilities to tell great stories.
There’s long been a rumor that Disney Imagineer’s want to add a Cars attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, so I’m hoping this film is a mega-hit and the new land gets a green light.
About the movie:
Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez (voice of Cristela Alonzo), with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!
