The Newport Beach Christmas Boat parade is a huge annual tradition in Southern California drawing families from around the region. For 2016, Disneyland has decided to enter its own boat float to promote the limited-time return of the Main Street Electrical Parade to the park.
In a video provided by Disney, you see Principal Art Directory Bradley Kaye walk through the steps of creating a light-up boat float for the parade.

The Newport Beach Christmas Boat parade runs December 14-18th in Newport Harbor. Mickey Mouse will even serve as Grand Marshall on the 14th.
