The happy healthy blog Lean Green Dad is a great resource for those looking to maintain a Vegan or vegetarian lifestyle. He also happens to be a big Disney fan. On a recent trip to the Magic Kingdom he noticed the park is offering some delicious vegan treats.
Did you know that the classic Dole Whip served at Sunshine Tree Terrace (not to mention the Polynesian Resort and Disney’s Animal Kingdom) is vegan? The Orange Dole Whip, Dole Whip Float, and the Pineapple Spear are also vegan. That’s great news right there, but there are also two vegan, dairy-free options in the Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street – Tofutti and Rice Dream.
So if you’re looking for a treat at the Magic Kingdom, even with your friends who may not be dairy-free, you now have a couple of options.
