We’ve enjoyed watching Sam Towler’s Nature Wonderland Model come to life over the last 5 years. He’s actually been working on it since 2005. It’s been a long process but the model is ready to go on display to the public for the first time.
To see the model in person, head to Railroad Days in Fullerton, CA on April 30 and May 1 at the Fullerton Train Station. Admission is free, so there’s no excuses to miss this amazing project.
Towler is clearly a fantastic model builder. There are a ton of moving parts to the model. Plus glorious trains that look just like the real thing from back in the day. If someone wasn’t right, he’d go back and rework it, which explains why it’s taken so long.
