Dates added to the Walt Disney World planning website have confirmed that the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights Christmas light show will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for at least one more season.

With many big changes expected to come to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, last year was rumored to be the final year of the popular choreographed lights show, but budget approval for the changes apparently came late enough that the 2015 show was given the go ahead.

The nightly light display will run from November 6 2015 through January 3 2016. Are planning to see the Osborne Lights this year?

Here are a few highlights from 2011:

What is your favorite part of the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights?

  1. I’m SO happy the lights will be up this year. My family and I are traveling down to Disney for the week before Christmas, and a trip to Disney in December is never complete without seeing the Dancing Lights. It just gets us into the most festive mood for Christmas. I will be really, really disappointed if they don’t find a new home for the lights for 2016 onward.

  2. How could they ever leave? They are such a big part of the whole picture. I really hope they find their new avenue of light to display the wonder of it all.

  3. Wowsers, I didn’t know there was a possibility the lights would be put away. My family and I always look forward to the lights and the awesome music.

  4. This should be a permanent attraction …it blends in so beautifully at the time of year when many are celebrating…and for those of us who don’t have family to celebrate with anymore, it is the one glowing spot to reminds us of years past. We always see Osborne Lights when we are there…and we travel from New York to do it so while I understand there are other changes going on…this is one thing that should not be brushed aside.
