Time for another check on the major construction project impacting the very center of Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. So far they’ve completed new dining pavilions, beautiful gardens for to fastpass for fireworks, and added new very handy pathways to route traffic away from the parade route.
The plaza (aka hub) construction project is now, finally, nearing completion. Work has moved to the sides of the hub for installation of a water fountain and castle turret themed buildings that will support the stage show on the Cinderella Castle main stage. Best of all Walt and Mickey are out of their box and beautiful landscaping has returned to the center of the hub:
If you can’t watch the video, here are some photos to help you get an idea for where things stand.
Are you looking forward to the completion of this project? Where is your favorite spot to watch fireworks from at the Magic Kingdom?
Great video and music. Congratulations! I was there in april and still couldn´t see Walt and Mickey. It´s getting very beautiful! I think I have to come back soon!!
