If you may recall Disney recently swapped locations of Aloha Isle and Sunshine Tree Terrace, probably to ease congestion in Adventureland as they begin construction on a new restaurant coming to the old Adventureland Verandah location.
What got lost in the move was the icon of Sunshine Tree Plaza, the Orange Bird. Disney made a big deal of its return to the Magic Kingdom a few years ago in 2012, so it seemed odd to have it missing again. Not to worry, Disney had a plan to bring it back.
The return came this weekend and the Orange Bird once again has a place of prominence at Sunshine Tree Terrace.
To celebrate Disney is offering a limited production poster and t-shirt online at the Disney Store now through June 4th. So even if you can’t make it to the Magic Kingdom, you can celebrate having the Orange Bird back.
