First Mo’ne Davis conquered the Little League World Series and now she’s conquering the world with her sportsmanship and talent. Yesterday Davis was honored as the Grand Marshal of the Magic Kingdom’s Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at Walt Disney World Resort.
Davis, the Philadelphia teen who was visiting Walt Disney World Resort with her family, spent time after the parade near Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom playfully teaching a few young girls and Mickey Mouse how to throw a baseball.
Her visit to Walt Disney World Resort comes on the heels of last month’s announcement that Disney Channel will feature Davis in a made-for-TV movie called Throw Like Mo. Davis will be a consultant for the movie, which will tell the inspiring story of the sports phenom who, at age 13, made history last summer as the first female to pitch a shutout in the Little League World Series.
