Cameron Arrigioni decided to create a new trailer for “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” that gives us an idea of how it would appear had it been made today. Like all modern trailers it practically gives the whole movie away, glowing titles, and that epic score.
Okay. He does get one detail wrong, why George Lucas was the producer, the film was by Irvin Kershner. But a lot of people make that mistake. For reference, here’s the original trailer.
The trailer has a vaguely Christopher Nolan feel, if you ask me. I wonder if he’ll get a crack at one of the upcoming Star Wars films.
I do think it works. Makes me want to put on the DVD right now. How about you?
