Put your hard hats on! The Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort is giving us a tour of the first non-Disney luxury hotel to be built on property.
The Four Seasons is the standard in luxury and it looks like they’re making sure to do it right at Disney. The Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World is currently scheduled to open this summer. Reservations are being taken for dates August 3rd and afterward.
Having worked at a Four Seasons property some twenty years ago, I can tell you that I’m not impressed with the addition of a Four Seasons to the WDW property. I won’t go into details, but it was a horrible place to work — or visit — unless you enjoyed watching management humiliate employees in public. Perhaps things have changed, but I know I’d never stay in one.
I’ll stick with Disney-owned resorts. They actually know how to treat people right.
I can’t figure out, where on property is this? I was there in November and don’t remember seeing any signs.
It’s in a private gated area near Disney Golden Oak homes.
