I don’t know who created this terrific mix of vintage Walt Disney looking out over Town Square in a modern Disneyland, but it’s brilliant.
Disneyland fans are always saying that it’s the only park that Walt set foot in and his presence is felt closer there than any other park. That was true in my experience. But all Disney parks can lay claim to his legacy. The theme park is his vision for modern family entertainment and the basic idea of a themepark has changed little since Walt’s original ideas. So thank you Walt, without you we wouldn’t be here at all.
I’m not sure who mixed the images together, but I can tell that the individual images before they were blended come from “Walt at Disneyland”, part of the amazing Then and Now photo series at ImagineeringDisney.com
