It’s become a tradition that the Super Bowl MVP gets to do the “What’s Next” Commercial and take a ticker-tape parade down main street. This year, Disney World is building up the excitement with a special pre-parade segment. It will run ahead of the “Celebrate a Dream Come True” parade at Magic Kingdom and feature Disney football star Goofy with assorted Central Florida youth football champions. Chip & Dale will join in as a pair of nutty referees along with other character favorites.
The pre-parade starts today and runs through February 3. Then on the day after the big game, there will be a special ticker-tape parade down Main Street, U.S.A. presumably with the MVP (Although if your Eli Manning, you skip out).
The park has also announced some special menu items available at Cosmic Rays to commemorate the super Sunday celebration. Special “Soup-er Bowls” representing the teams will be available for one-week only, from February 1 – 9. Savor the Lobster Bisque and Tomato Basil Bisque only available during their “Limited Time Magic” celebration.
Lobster Bisque? I’m there! How about you?
And they’re going to have some TV’s scattered around the parks to check out the game, right? ;)
Lobster bisque, yeah! PS I think Ray Lewis would be unbelievably entertaining in a mainstreet USA parade.
Lobster bisque?? Looks like Disney World planned on having the Patriots in the Superbowl. How about Maryland crab soup for the AFC Champ Ravens? First Ray Lewis gets dissed in 2001 and now the Ravens are ignored in 2013.. What;s new?
Yep.
