Oz The Great and Powerful – First Trailer

Disney has released the first trailer for it’s first return to the world of Oz since “Return to Oz” back in the 80s. Oz The Great And Powerful tells the story of the magician who would be come the Wizard and how he made it the the magical land.

Did you catch the black & white opening. Note the tribute to L. Frank Baum in the name of the circus:

I also like the mountain that appears to be in the shape of a witches hat in the back of this landscape:

And, of course, we get the iconic moment with the Emerald City and the Yellow Brick Road

So what do you think? It looks like it has the potential to be huge.
