Meeting Merida

At Disneyland, Merida has set up camp across from “it’s a small world.” At the Magic Kingdom, Merida is located on the edge of Fantasyland to the right of Cinderella Castle (as you face it from the hub). Both feature an animatronic trio of bear cubs and an archery range feel. At the Magic Kingdom lines are already quite long to get in for the experience. Not quite rivaling Rapunzel, but I’m sure it will shortly. I have already seen little girls dressed as Merida waiting in queue for their moment to meet Pixar’s first princess.

So here’s a question. Should Merida join the roster of Disney’s official princesses? She would be the first Pixar character to do so.
