Man rescued from drowning at Disney Cast Member Pool

Did you know that Disney World Cast Members have their own private pool and beach area to relax at? Me neither until a few years ago. It’s called Mickey’s Retreat and sadly it was in the news last night. A male visitor at the pool was rescued from a near drowning.

Unfortunately there’s not much more in the news than that. Hopefully he’ll be okay.

Don’t go looking for Mickey’s Retreat at Walt Disney World, it’s actually located a few miles away near one of the outlet malls. But it does have a private beach, a large swimming pool, and other activities to enjoy.
