American Idol winner Scotty McCreery to be feted at DHS on Monday May 30th

Although the rumors were that the top five of this season’s American Idol would be at the park on Sunday May 29th, Disney just announced that the 2011 “American Idol” winner, 17 year old Scotty McCreery, will actually be visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Monday, May 30, 2011.

McCreery will be the featured attraction in a parade that begins at 10 a.m.. If past events are any indicator there will also be a short ceremony outside the theater and possibly a song from the winner (that’s been 50/50 since the attraction opened).

This is expected to be a popular event, so plan to arrive early if you want the best viewing locations
