We’ve had the pleasure of a short journey on the Disney Dream. It’s already revolutionizing the Disney Cruise Line fan base running its shorter trips. Next year will bring the Disney Fantasy to Florida to take on the longer adventures. That, of course, raises the question, what will happen with the Disney Magic, currently the second ship stationed in Orlando.
There was some talk that the Magic would find its way back to the Mediterranean where it’s had some successful cruises. Others thought that the more southernly routes reachable from Galveston, Texas were more likely. We now know that at least some trips will be departing from Galveston beginning in September of 2012. Of course, that leaves some time between a rumored February arrival of the Fantasy and Galveston during which the Magic will be based out of New York and explore the Canadian maritimes.
The Disney Wonder continues its west coast trips from Los Angeles to Mexico. They’ll also be adding in some northernly adventures into Canada and Alaska based out of Seattle.
If you already have a trip booked, or are thinking about a Disney Cruise, I’d love to hear which trips interest you the most and why?

We are planning a Disney Cruise for 2013, I will very excited to see if it departs from NY. That would be a dream come true for us. It has been 10 years since our last cruise on the Magic and it was great. The people were wonderful and the snorkeling on Castaway Cay was the best, We truly enjoyed that island.
