DisUnplugged has a very fascinating look at a lawsuit Disney faces over the copyright for one of the songs it uses in the Hoop-Dee-Do0 Musical Revue. Copyright has been extended too long, IMHO. But I don’t think the parody defense would actually work here.

A Fast Company blog looks at how Pixar takes each project from suck to non-suck. Could that be the secret of their success? Want some more business advice from Pixar? PSFK has your back.

This analysis of the 2010 Disney Corporate Responsibility report by Smarter Planet is insightful. There’s a lot Disney is doing right, but they’re still failing to meet some of their own goals.

Finally, CartoonBrew highlights a video interview with Disney animator Andreas Deja. We hardly get a chance to know the people behind the Disney magic, it’s great when they do interviews like this.
