The always-amazing Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights has returned. Like most years, the show is tweaked and plussed for 2010 – this is one experience they seldom leave alone.
Two prominent new things are the window videos and the “interruptions” by Phineas and Ferb. The windows are near one end of the street, and show snowflakes slowly falling amid a blue background. It’s a minor addition, but a welcome one, and the effect draws a lot of attention to itself in person.
Disney Channel cartoons and mischief makers Phineas and Ferb show up as voiceovers amid the regular hosts. Rather than dance, the lights go dark until our heroes can fix them. It’s some blatant advertising for these new characters, but it does keep things fresh.
