SeaWorld Orlando tests New Roller Coaster – Manta

When you arrive at SeaWorld Orlando’s front gate you won’t be able to miss the next major attraction coming to the park. Manta towers over the entrance, inviting guests to enjoy a thrill ride like no other.

An all-new breed of thrill ride-plus-up-close-animal-encounters, Manta combines the best of the sea and sky, immersing you in the beautiful and mysterious world of rays and then taking you for the ride of your life aboard a manta-inspired flying roller coaster. Fly, glide and soar headfirst like a ray aboard this unparalleled experienced that only SeaWorld could create.

Although Manta is set to open May 22, the park filmed its first test flight today.

  1. This looks like an amazing attraction – but I’ll be watching it safely from terra firma as coasters aren’t my thing – especially when they loop the loop like that one does!

  2. It looks a lot like ‘AIR’ the flying coaster at Alton Towers theme park here in England. I haven’t been on that yet but both look amazing! :D
