SeaWorld Orlando to test Front of Line Pass for Pay

Starting tomorrow and running through September 1st, SeaWorld Orlando will be introducing a new service called “Quick Queue.” Park visitors who pay an extra $29.95, plus tax, will receive a pass that will allow them to move to the front of the line for SeaWorld’s major rides and attractions.

It’s not an unlimited pass, however. It only includes one pass to Kraken, Journey to Atlantis, and Wild Artic, plus a wild card that can be used once on any of the three. You’ll also get priority access to SeaWorld’s shows including “Believe” the Shamu show, Blue Horizons, and the Clyde & Seamore sea lion show.

The “Quick Queue” pass also includes free entrance to one of the park’s three seperate admission attractions, the Sky Tower, the Xtreme Zone, or the Paddle Boats. So that’s a savings of $3.

So to sum up. Four quick rides without waiting in a long queue, a ‘free’ pay attraction, and access to the shows. All for the not so low cost of $29.95. Not the best deal out there when Disney’s is free and Universal Studios offers unlimited rides.

I’m sure SeaWorld will find a few takers for this offer. However, take my advice and save that $30 to spend on food or merchandise. Just arrive early or stay late to get walk-on rides on all the attractions you want. As for the shows, you’re on your own. But time management should mean you’ll never have to miss one of those either.
