Much like its American cousins, Disneyland Paris has it’s own riverboat, although it runs on the "Rivers Of the Far-West" instead of the "Rivers Of America", named the "Molly Brown". The boat is named after Margaret Tobin Brown (wikipedia), one the survivors of the Titanic, who later became known as the Unsinkable Molly Brown.
Well, the Molly Brown riverboat had better watch out for icebergs itself as Alain Littaye of the marvelous Disney and More blog has posted pictures of thick ice forming on the Rivers Of The Far-West at Disneyland Paris. The harsher winter climate of France was one of the reasons Disney had considered building Euro-Disneyland in Spain.
There was a time in the winter of 1999(?) i think it was when we used the Molly Brown’s sister ship the Mark Twain to break the ice on the Rivers of the Far West. Fun times!
