Nikke Finke raises an interesting question in her post about the Roy and Patty Disney divorce. How diluted will Roy’s Disney stock become? And with that will his influence shrink? I suspect not as most of his influence had to do with the ability to rally the troops and form a coalition of stock holders and others to oust Eisner. The rest rides on his name and his history with the company (feature animation in particular). If he’s forced out completely it will end another sad chapter in the history of the Disney family and the company formed by Walt and Roy.
Will Disney Divorce change Roy’s influence over his uncle’s company?
