Everyone knew the release of the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest DVD would be a huge seller, the only question was how big. 5 million copies big, as it turns out. And that was just the first day. That put’s it on track to unseat Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, which sold about 18 million units (DVD and Other) total, as the number one selling DVD of all time.
