Gatorland has announced that it will be opening on November 24th, the day after Thanksgiving, with a brand new entrance, a huge benefit, and all the original attractions from before the big fire burnt down the main entrance and gift shop.
The benefit will include live music, prizes, and special animal encounters. The new entrance, actually the old school group entrance, will maintain the rustic feeling of the whole Gatorland area. The benefit will support the Children’s Burn Foundation of Florida as the park donates the proceeds from the day to the nonprofit in honor of the brave men and women of the local Fire & Rescue stations that saved Gatorland from even more severe damage, perhaps total loss.
Good show Gatorland! Best luck on your grand re-opening .
