If Disneyland is to ever have a third-gate then the piece of property currently up for debate in front of the Anaheim City Council had better not become housing. But that’s the plan from Anaheim officials who clearly want to shoot any future growth of the resort, and any future tax income, in the foot.

If the Anaheim council denies Disney the opportunity for a third park they’ll all be recalled before you can say, “Here’s your ground-breaking shovel Mr. Iger.”
The workers can drive an hour to work like everyone else in SoCal.
