Finishing its third weekend with $35 million in additional loot and lifting its domestic total to $321.7 million, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest is poised to pass Finding Nemo as Disney’s most successful film at the domestic box office. Pirates continues to open in more countries and is now over $124 million internationally, bringing the grand total box office to $445 million. P2 continues to run at a pace to set the overall box office record for domestic and worldwide release.
Monster House, which is getting amazing reviews, came in second at $23 million and the Pixar/Disney film Cars came in tenth at $5 million bringing the total domestic Box Office for Cars to $230 million. Newsweek has a rundown of the rest of the box office.
