The Science Museum in London will be featuring a touring exhibit of Pixar art from April 1st-June 10th. Pixar: 20 Years of Animation showcases numerous artworks, models and digital paintings, plus two unique audiovisual experiences specific to this exhibition. According to the museum website, it is a rare opportunity for the UK to go behind the scenes and discover the science and magic that have created some of the most popular films ever made. All of the Pixar artwork and digital media are on loan from the archives of Pixar Animation Studios.
The Science Museum will also offer a series of presentations by industry insiders, including speakers from Pixar, called Talk Animation! allowing visitors a better understanding of the creativity and technology involved in all aspects of animation.
I remember reading a while back (this is when it was meant to be released a few years ago) that the DVD would include a few of the Pixar shorts that have never been seen outside of Pixar before. That would be cool.
