Narnia opens in theatres today. It will be interesting to see if Disney’s strategy of marketing the movie to christian churches and fantasy fans will work. I’m horrible at guessing opening weekend numbers, but I’m predicting an opening weekend take of $56.1 million. What’s your guess?

Also opening today is the Narnia walk-through exhibit at MGM-Disney Studios in Orlando. My goal is to see both this weekend, but I just saw Harry Potter IV, so my records not so good there either.

I am extremely excited to see this movie. I really hope Disney does a good job with it, because if some of the creatures are not done properly, it will look EXTREMELY cheesy, as have almost all other reproductions of the book.
