The next big Roller Coaster attraction to open at a Disney Themepark is Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, FL. The attraction is currently undergoing rigorous testing and it looks like soft openings for cast members and annual passholders could begin as early as mid January.
But you don’t have to wait that long to get in on the fun. DisneyAuctions has recently posted a host of items and experiences that relate to the new attraction with net proceeds all going to Conservation International (CI), whose mission is to conserve the Earth’s living natural heritage, our global biodiversity, and to demonstrate that human societies are able to live harmoniously with nature.
The two most expensive items currently are a special backstage tour (at $4500+) an opportunity to have your name worked in as part of the storyline for the attraction. The bidding is already up to $3550.00 and there still ten hours left.
