This student project looks to take the concept of Disney themepark’s Talking Trash Can one step further. This might be the next step for Disney as well. It would compliment their AVAC system at Disney World. Anyone want to help make these student’s dreams a reality?

This reminds me of the mood oriented doors in The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy that are programmed to have a happy disposition. Is this the beginning of a new era in home appliances? I hope not!
In the Netherlands there is a theme park called the Efteling with trash cans that are shapped like people and they thank you or sing to you when nearby….
