Disney has been rearranging some of its deck chairs on the television side of the behemoth. One of the recent moves was to move the President of ABC News David Westin directly under Anne Sweeney co-chair of Disney Media Networks.
For those of you who have read ‘Disney War‘ Sweeney is the one who started ToonDisney, SoapNet, and was in charge of the ABCFamily mess. I wonder if this move means Iger wants a firmer grip on ABC News, which has operated fairly independently.
