My link of the day pick over on LaughingPlace.com is Upcoming Pixar Blog. It pairs well with Luxo, which I picked yesterday. Today both have links to a great interview with Pixar animator Cameron Miyazaki. He’s no relation to Master Miyazaki, but he says he does idolize his work.
I really consider myself fortunate to have been able to work with both John [Lasseter] and Brad [Bird] so early in my career. They both have such a passion for what they do and a seemingly endless amount of energy. Like I said before, being in dailies with them is like being in school again and learning something new every day. I’ve picked up so much knowledge about acting, staging, posing, etc. from just listening to them and seeing how they view animation.
