Driving to Disney World from Kissimmee and Celebration is about to get a lot more complicated. The Orlando Sentinel reports that the I-4 and 192 interchange is about to get a massive makeover. The change is much needed, but the 24 months of construction are sure to cause many headaches.
I don’t know if Florida gives bonuses for early completion of projects, but this sounds like a good candidate for something like that. After the Northridge Earthquake a bridge that was supposed to take 18 months to finish took only 8 and the company earned a million dollar bonus for every month it was early.
