I live in Las Vegas right now and the moment I heard that a Cuban dance show would be opening up on The Strip I knew we were in for another round of defections. That prediction came true and now the dancers are seeking asylum for them and their families.
As part of the asylum interview process the dancers had to visit Southern California in close proximity to "The Happiest Place on Earth", so of course a field trip was arranged. I know it’s not as big as Soviet Premier Nikita Khruschev’s denied visit, but it’s nice to read stories like these every now and then.
