The movie Groundhog Day with Bill Murray, a cute little film that was very under rated in its initial release, has seeped its way into popular culture so much that the term Groundhog Day now means having to repeat the same thing over and over again. It appears to be such a good concept that Buffy The Vampire Slayer featured it in its famous musical episode ‘Once More with Feeling’. Now Disney appears to be getting on the Groundhog Day bandwagon with a movie musical of their own called (not so creatively) ‘Bob the musical‘ (I don’t make this stuff up).
