Disney World annual passholders can now buy discount park hopper tickets for friends and family. At $79, a single day park hopper ticket is a pretty good value (about a 40% savings off an adult ticket). The deal is available now through September 30, 2017, but it has a few caveats. .
Passholder must be present to buy the ticket and it must be used on the date of purchase. Good news is the Passholder can buy tickets for up to 6 friends. Just bring your friend to a Guest Relation location or ticket window and present your annual pass card and photo ID to purchase.
Sadly, requiring a ‘day of’ purchase means your guest won’t be able to take advantage of reserving any Fastpass+ until they get in the park. So don’t plan to get on Flight of Passage or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, I guess.
On the other hand if you have that friend who really wants to go to the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, this is the perfect deal.
Is this Annual Passholder benefit something you might use?
I think this is awesome! I have a lot of times I would like to take a friend with me for just the day! I hope they implement it completely and not just for a limited time.
This is a great offer. I wish we could purchase for future trips though. Our annual pass expires in January and we just booked a trip then. We are planning on bringing a friend or two and this would have been perfect for them. They are college students so every saved dollar is important. Maybe in the future….
Yes, our niece is coming to visit and we will take advantage of the offer. We will also take advantage of Sea World’s take a friend for FREE offer in September.
I think it’s a great idea! I would like to see it added as a benefit for Annual Passholder and a DVC benefit also! We travel with our daughter and family to DSW and we make our reservations 11 months in advance! It would be an added benefit if they could get their tickets when we make arrangements and at 60 days they could do their fast passes so extend the benefit to add fast pass benefit! I know I’m wishing but you all asked for feedback!?
Seems like this is mainly geared towards FLA residents only
