In case you need another reason to get excited for summer, here’s a pretty good one: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy. Disneyland Paris recently announced the opening of a new section dedicated to our favorite cooking rat, which will house a new ride, a shop called Chez Marianne Souvenirs de Paris, and a themed restaurant called Bistrot Chez Rémy.
The attraction will give guests an experience from Remy’s point of view as they are shrunk down to the size of a rat and have to scurry through a busy kitchen, diner, and the walls of the restaurant to avoid Chef Skinner.
Although there are no official dates set for the area to open, we know it will be sometime this summer. I’m a little surprised Disney waited this long to make a Ratatouille attraction (especially for Paris) because I always thought the movie lent itself well to a park attraction and, of course, a restaurant. Hopefully if it’s received well in Paris we could see something similar over here in America.
