Club Libby Lu stores to close, including one at Disneyland

Saks operates the Club Libby Lu brand and has announced that all the stores will be closed by May 2009. That includes the store in Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney. I can’t say I’ve ever met anyone who even entered that store. (via CNN)

“a non-Disney Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique…” .. only sluttier. I always found those stores a little creepy. I didn’t know there was one in Disneyland but I don’t think they’re losing anything with it closing.

Like most things of the Mouse, Disney “borrowed the concept from Club Libby Lu and repurposed it :)
