A housekeeping note: I am pleased that so many guests of The Disney Blog are enjoying the Annie Leibovitz “Disney Dream Portrait Series” photos. I’ve been checking my numbers and it turns out that those posts account for a large portion of my bandwidth costs and I’m not even posting the large versions of the images.
I want to use that bandwidth to provide more features for the blog’s readers, so I’ve moved all the Dream Photos to a new ‘Annex’ blog where I am now able to offer large higher resolution copies of each magical photo. These all make wonderful desktops.
If more photos are released in the series I’ll do the same. In the meantime, you can find the “Disney Dream Portrait Series” on the original posts (see below) with new links to the high-resolution images, or just visit the Dream Photo Annex.
- Scarlett Johansson as Cinderella, Beyoncé as Alice in Wonderland and David Beckham as the gallant Prince Phillip from “Sleeping Beauty.”
- Rachel Weisz as Snow White, Roger Federer as King Arthur from “The Sword in the Stone,” Julie Andrews as the Blue Fairy from “Pinocchio” with Abigail Breslin as Fira from “Disney Fairies.”
- Jennifer Lopez as Jasmine, Marc Anthony as Aladdin and Whoopi Goldberg playing the Genie; Giselle Bündchen as Wendy Darling, Mikhail Baryshnikov as Peter Pan and Tina Fey as Tinker Bell; and Jessica Biel as Pocahontas.
