Long Interview with Joss Whedon and Neil Gaiman

(NG) Sure, Mirrormask is fantasy. Dave McKean—who directed it and who co-came up with the story—I suspect thinks it’s not fantasy because it’s a dream, and because of various other things, and because Dave is not terribly comfortable with the idea of fantasy. Roy Disney’s Shamrock Holdings has purchased 80 percent of the Harlem Globetrotters from the team’s CEO, Mannie Jackson. Mr. Jackson will remain the team’s chairman and CEO as well as retaining 20 percent of the team. (via LP Latest)… Read More »Are you kidding me?

Epcot Food & Wine Festival Starts This Weekend

It’s one of my favorite times of year at Disney World — The EPCOT Food and Wine festival. The Osceola News Gazette has collected some interesting factoids to whet your appetite as you prepare to eat and drink your way around the world. • There are more than 300 national and international wines at the… Read More »Epcot Food & Wine Festival Starts This Weekend
