“The Book of Boba Fett,” the first spin-off from the Disney+ breakout Star Wars hit series “The Mandalorian,” now has a premiere date. The new Lucasfilm series was first teased in a surprise end-credit scene in the Season 2 finale of “The Mandalorian.”
Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen will continue their roles from “The Mandalorian” as Boba Fett and Fennec Shand respectively. The series will find the legendary bounty hunter navigating the Star Wars Galaxy’s underworld from their new homebase on the iconic sandy planet of Tatooine.
If you remember the surprise end-credit scene, it focused on Boba Fett and Fenec Shand moving into the former palace of Jabba the Hutt where it’s assumed the pair will try to take over his former crime syndicate.
