The opening of Walt Disney World’s Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser is one step closer to reality as the company has posted a job description for the Hotel Service Director at the Star Wars-themed resort.
Disney is looking for a seasoned hotelier with senior leadership hospitality experience on land or at sea to serve as Hotel Services Director, Disney’s version of the General Manager, for thenew Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser.
Guests will be onboard their own very special 2-day, 2-night journey, very similar to a cruise line experience, so that ‘at sea’ experience will no doubt come in handy.

As the hotel’s service director you will essentially be the starcruiser’s captain and lead guests and cast members through the immersive adventure that will include encounters between Resistance forces and the First Order.
If you have the requisite experience and a passion for bringing ideas to life, creativity, and place a high value on a non-traditional work environment, then you might be successful in this role.
